It all begins with an idea.
John (Peter aka Pete) Buss became a licensed home inspector in 2001 and opened Buss Inspection Services Inc.
Pete, at a very young age, became quite the entrepreneur. As a young twelve-year-old gardener, he made his spending money selling the items from his garden. He then became a tool and dye machinist, and after 3-years, he became the foreman of the tool and dye operation.
In 1987, Pete went to the Chicago Board of Options Exchange and got a job in this high-paced environment as a runner. He worked his way up to a broker while teaching himself how to trade options. He worked for DRU Options for 14-years.
One day while inspecting a home, and after almost falling off a 30-foot roof, Pete decided to embrace technology and taught himself the art of working with drones. These drones are extremely helpful when inspecting dangerous roofs and high places.
Today things are a little more laid back with his home inspection business growing and enjoying time with his boys. Pete raised 3-wonderful boys and now has a complete golf foursome. They also enjoy fishing, camping, jet skiing, and any and all water sports. Pete loved to cook and is quite the grill master.
Peter Buss loves to ride his motorcycle any time he can, and you will see him pull up to an inspection with his ladder and tools by his side.
